What is included with my tiki boat charter?
Your private charter includes a Coast Guard certified captain, the tiki boat rental for your selected duration, two coolers for storage, onboard restroom facilities, a Bluetooth stereo system, life jackets (available upon request), and fuel. You’re welcome to bring your own food and beverages to customize your experience.
How many people can fit on the tiki boat?
Our tiki boat accommodates up to 18 passengers. If you’re bringing a service animal, they will count as one person toward the total passenger capacity.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Absolutely! This is a BYOB charter. You’re welcome to bring your own beverages, including alcohol for guests 21 and older, as well as any food you’d like. We provide two coolers onboard, but you’ll need to bring your own ice. Please note that glass containers are not permitted.
Where do we meet for our charter?
We’re located at Bahia Mar Marina, 801 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. The vessel is docked on “B” dock. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early for check-in. Upon parking at the marina, a crew member will escort you from the parking lot to the vessel at the dock.
What should we bring?
We recommend bringing sunglasses, spray sunscreen (lotion-based sunscreen is not permitted), a hat, your own cooler with food and drinks (or use ours with your own ice), valid ID (required for anyone 21+ if consuming alcohol), and a driver’s license. Feel free to bring cameras to capture the memories!
Are there age restrictions?
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older. Alcohol consumption is only permitted for guests 21 years of age or older with a valid ID. IDs are subject to verification by the captain at any time.
Can we smoke on the boat?
Smoking with an open flame is not allowed. However, flameless vaporizing devices are permitted.
Is the boat handicap accessible?
Yes, special accommodations can be made for disabled guests upon request. Please contact us in advance so we can ensure your needs are met.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations and reservation modifications are handled on a case-by-case basis, and we’re willing to work with you. We operate rain or shine! In the rare event we must cancel due to inclement weather, our staff will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule or refund your booking. Please call at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time for cancellations or modifications. No-shows are subject to the full cost of the reservation.
Can we extend our charter while we’re out on the water?
Yes! If available and schedule permitting, you may extend your charter at a rate of $99 per additional hour. Please discuss this with your captain during your trip.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We go out rain or shine! However, if we need to cancel due to severe inclement weather conditions, our staff will contact you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule your booking or provide a full refund.
Can we customize our route?
Yes! Custom tours and pickup/dropoff locations are available based on schedule and navigation constraints. Please discuss your preferences when booking.
How do I book a charter?
You can book directly through our website via the Book Now button in the top right or contact us at (443) 880-1738 or [email protected]. We recommend booking at least 2 hours in advance, though earlier booking is always better to ensure availability.
What are your operating hours?
We offer charters starting at 9:00 AM with the last departure at 7:00 PM. All boats must return by 9:00 PM.
Do you allow pets?
Service animals are allowed but will count toward the 18-passenger capacity. Regular pets are not permitted.
